Lyricco's new look and switching back to the previous version

In October 2026 Lyricco got a new interface. What changed, how to update your devices and how to go back to the previous look.

What changed?

On 28 October 2026 Lyricco got a new look. Before, the lyrics were shown in a dark stage view and the repertoire was managed in a separate, light panel. Now you do everything from the lyrics screen:

  • ☰ menu in the top right corner - Songs, Setlists, Tags and Settings tabs. Add and edit songs, setlists and tags without leaving the lyrics screen.
  • New editor - place chords with a tap and drag them with your finger, no brackets to type.
  • Quick actions - transpose, text size, chords, diagrams and fullscreen behind one button.
  • Auto-scroll synced between devices - details.
  • Messages to the band and a pinned note - details.
  • Touch and pedal navigation - details.
  • More lyrics appearance settings - font, weight, line spacing, section size and indent - details.

How do I update my devices?

Just open the Lyricco app on each device (phone, tablet, computer) while it is connected to the internet. The new version downloads by itself - there is nothing to install and no new app version to download.

Until every device is updated, devices on the new and the old version still sync with each other: changing the song and scrolling work as before. The new features (auto-scroll, messages to the band, pinned note) only work between updated devices.

Switching back to the previous version

If you prefer the previous look, open the ☰ menu and choose Settings → Previous version. The choice applies to your account, so to all your devices. The browser and the Windows app switch right away; the Android app has to be closed and opened again.

You can come back to the new look at any time: in the previous version open the menu and choose "Switch to the new version".

Switching back is available for accounts created before the new look (28.10.2026). New accounts use the new look only.
