Adding songs

How to add a new song?

In the Repertoire tab on lyricco.app click the "Add song" button. A form opens with the following fields:

• Title - name of the song
• Artist / performer - optional
• Key - optional, for chord transposition
• Lyrics / ChordPro - the main content of the song

After filling in the form click "Add song" to save the song.

Text formats

Lyricco supports two formats for entering content:

• Plain text - You enter the song lyrics without chords. You can color-code sections (verse, chorus, comment).
• ChordPro - Chords written in square brackets, e.g. [C]Hello [Am]world. Details: Chords and transposition.
