ChordPro file import

What is the ChordPro format?

ChordPro is an open text file format for songs with chords. The files have the .cho or .chopro extension. If you have used music apps before (OpenSong, OnSong, Band Helper), you probably have songs in this format.

How do I import?

1. In the ☰ menu, in the Songs tab, tap "+ Add song" → "Import from file" (or Settings → Repertoire → Import; in the browser panel: the Repertoire tab → "Import").
2. Choose "ChordPro" as the source.
3. Select one file or several at once.
4. Tap "Import ChordPro files".

Lyricco processes the files and adds the songs to your repertoire with their chords. The title is taken from the {title:} directive in the file - if it's missing, the file name is used.

Import limitations

• You can import as many songs as your plan allows. If the limit is exceeded, some songs will not be imported.
• Files must be UTF-8 encoded.
