ChordPro file import

What is ChordPro format?

ChordPro is an open text-file format for storing songs with chords. Files have the .cho or .chopro extension. If you have previously used music apps (OpenSong, OnSong, Band Helper), you probably have songs in this format.

How to import?

1. In the Repertoire tab on lyricco.app click "Import".
2. Select the option "ChordPro file (.cho / .chopro)".
3. Select one or multiple files at once.
4. Click "Import".

Lyricco will process the files and add songs to the repertoire. Chords will be preserved in ChordPro format.

Import limitations

• You can import as many songs as your plan allows. If the limit is exceeded, some songs will not be imported.
• Files must be encoded in UTF-8.
