Installing the app on your device

How to install the Lyricco app on a phone, tablet or computer. Android, Windows (dedicated app), and iOS and other devices (PWA).

What is the Lyricco app?

Lyricco offers a dedicated app for Android and Windows - download it from the App section after logging in at lyricco.app. On other devices (iOS, macOS) Lyricco installs as a PWA (Progressive Web App) straight from the browser, without the App Store.

The installed app (dedicated or PWA) opens the Lyricco stage view - a full-screen lyrics view where you display lyrics, sync with your band and manage your repertoire from the ☰ menu.

Installing on Android and Windows

  1. Log in at lyricco.app and go to the App section.
  2. Get the installer for your system (Google Play or an .apk file for Android, .exe for Windows) and install the app.
  3. Log in to your account - the app downloads your repertoire automatically.

These apps can also start and join a local Wi-Fi sync without internet - details in: Playing without internet.

Installing the PWA on iOS (iPhone / iPad)

  1. Open Lyricco in Safari (iOS requires Safari for PWAs).
  2. Tap the "Share" icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Choose "Add to Home Screen".
  4. Confirm with "Add".

Installing the PWA on other devices (Chrome / Edge)

If on Android or Windows you prefer the PWA to the dedicated app:

  1. Open Lyricco in Chrome or Edge.
  2. An install icon appears in the address bar (a down arrow or a "+" in a circle) - or choose "Add to Home screen" / "Install app" in the menu.
  3. Click "Install" in the dialog.

Updates

The app updates its look and features by itself - just open it while connected to the internet. A new installer for the Android or Windows app is only needed from time to time - the app will tell you.

After installing, Lyricco opens as the stage view - ready to play. You manage the repertoire from the ☰ menu in the same window or, if you prefer, in the panel at lyricco.app.
